i love this... it's yet another thing that i wish that i could physically pick up and put in a box, to open on rainy days.
today is sunny; i'm glad because it hasn't been sunny for a while, now. "here comes the sun, doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo..." my favourite beatles song. a few days ago, i turned Nineteen. Eighteen wrote a sweet letter to me, full of wisdoms that we've learnt this year and our hopes for the future.
i talk as if i am a schizophrenic, which i am not, i assure you! but, isn't it romantic to think as though you are composed of many different identities? each different "you's" are only given a short year to live, to learn, and to develop. it is like passing the olympic torch from city to city, except the final destination resides in "eternal slumber" (i tried to find something that sounded better than 'death.')
it gives you new reason to "live in the day"/carpe diem. because rather than having your whole life ahead of you, the present you, has only but a short year to make a difference and an impact, on your personal ending. food for thought. :)
bisous,
Lolita.
